Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been listed among Premier League stars for the 2018-2019 PFA player of the year.
According to the lists of nominees made public on Saturday, April 20, the Belgian who has netted 16 times and registered 12 assists in the English topflight so far is the only Chelsea player on the list.
But the pair of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son are other top performers this campaign missing from the list voted by the players themselves.
A further breakdown of the players nominated revealed that three Man City stars and two from Liverpool made the cut. Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling were chosen from City, while Virgil Van Dijk and Sadio Mané are Liverpool’s flag bearers.
The winner will be announced at ceremony in London on Sunday April 28.
