Some undergraduate students of Usman Dan Fodio University (UDUS) Sokoto, took to the streets to protest over the suspension of the planned RUGA settlement for Fulani herdsmen across the country.
Recall that the Federal Government weeks ago, announced the suspension of the planned Ruga settlement project, following the outrage it ignited in various parts of the country.
With placards which had inscriptions in Hausa, Fulfulde and English, the students of Usman Dan Fodio University (UDUS) Sokoto called for the implementation of the RUGA settlement as they took to major highways of Sokoto metropolis to protest today, July 13, 2019.
