Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has reportedly accepted his appointment as head of Kano State’s Council of Chief after ignoring the appointment from the state Governor Ganduje for some time now.
Governor Ganduje’s aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai a.k.a Dawisu confirmed that the Kano monarch officially accepted his appointment today December 20.
Yakasi made the revelation through the tweet shown below;
“His Highness, the Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II, has today, officially accepted his appointment by H.E @GovUmarGanduje as the Chairman Kano State Council of Emirs, comprising of all the 5 emirates in the state and other members. Long Live Kano State.”
