Barely 24 hours after saying it will not interfere in the rape scandal involving COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo and wife of singer Timi Dakolo, Busola, the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has said it will be investigating the matter.
Speaking on the rape scandal, President of the christian association, Reverend Samson Ayokunle, condemned rape, adding that the allegation will be investigated.
He said the Pentecoastal Fellowship of Nigeria which is the block under CAN which Fatoyinbo belongs to, has been informed about the allegation and investigation has commenced.
Meanwhile protests has been organized by some members of the public including the husband of the alleged rape victim, Timi Dakolo. There are reports of heavy security presence at the COZA church premises Abuja which is viewed to serve as a deterrent to the planned protests to today.
